Condolence From: Mary Scudder
Condolence: I am so sorry for the loss of Miss Sheila; all my prayers go out to her family, friends, and loved ones. She was my 6th grade school teacher at Ingleside Elementary School in 1986. This was a time that my mom had lost her job and were pretty much down and out. I remember one day Ms. Sheila kept me after class and after everyone was gone, she handed me a shoe box. It had a brand new pair of Brooks tennis shoes in it. I will never forget her seeing a need that I had and showing compassion in fulfilling that need. That night we had a school play and I was able to wear my new shoes. I will be forever grateful for the wonderfully kind act that she displayed. She was a wonderful school teacher and such a pleasant spirit to be around; a precious jewel is what she was. I am thankful that she shared herself and her kindness with so many. God bless you all as you will continue to be in my prayers!

Condolence: I first met Sheilah when I was a TWC student and had Dwain for a PE class. I really got to know her when we were both employed in the McMinn County Schools - she would always have her knitting during our teacher meetings. Then we were able to go to Space Academy together in 1986 (I think)- a very enjoyable trip! She was a joy to be around. I know you will miss her.
