Condolences

Condolence From: Bee Redd Martin
Condolence: It's almost been a year since I lost my funny friend. We so enjoyed having our little book club; discussing our current favorite books. We laughed as she would talk about sleep-walking at the Lakehouse and find herself eating and getting crumbs in her books, spilling "Sonic Xtra LG vanilla coke with Xtra vanilla and a cup of ice" on her newest book. I miss her so much. She was a tough fighter in her battle with cancer. When I went to say goodbye at her Mom's house the Monday before she died she could still look at me and smile. We said our goodbyes and it was a Blessing to have been able to do that. I told her if I was lucky, I would see her in Heaven but I definitely knew she would be there with her Dad and Denyse. I'm so sorry to her family for their great loss because Pat was a great person. She is still missed by me and thought of as I finish each book and think "I wish I could talk to Pat in person about this book", but I'll continue to talk to her in my heart. Love, Bee 615-479-2754

Condolence: So sorry to learn of Pat's passing. She certainly has had her share of life's challenges recently with the cancer and passing of Denyse. Please know family has our prayers and sympathies. Got to know "Staley" at MCHS. As mentioned by others she was always fun to be around and good for a laugh. We were both in Jerome's Latin class that was interrupted for lunch. He was very time conscious and had habit of locking out students who were not promptly back in their seats after lunch break. I can hear Staley laughing now as she said "so he thinks he can teach Latin to monkeys?? - let's see if he can get his key in this lock, as she stuffed it full of bubble gum!". Later we shared some good times while both living in married student housing @ UT. She had her family early and got a kick about having all answering to "Pat" (Patricia Denyse; Patrick Todd}. Sorry we will be unable to attend service as we are out of town. Staley you are loved - friends are forever.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I love Staley. Our friendship began at MCHS playing basketball. She always made me laugh and I will always remember her contagious laugher and brilliant smile. I know she is in a better place. Hard for the ones she left behind but I know Heaven has another angel. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Pat was first a customer at my bakery, but she quickly also became my friend. Even after I closed, we continued to keep in touch with an occasional exchange of Red Velvet Cupcakes with Nuts and conversation. What I will miss the most about Pat is her smile and her great spirit. She was always so positive even though she was going through so much. She loved UT football, Red Velvet Cupcakes, and having a great time with friends. I will miss her so much and I really hate that I can't make it on Monday.
