David A. Hutsell, 88, of Englewood died Tuesday evening, December 15, 2015 at Life Care Center of Athens.
He was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and was the son of the late James Walker McSpadden and Ollie Parkinson Hutsell. He was also preceded in death by his wife Lillian Derrick Hutsell, a daughter Ann Vestal, son-in-law Allen Yount and a granddaughter Charity Vestal.
He was a member of Englewood United Methodist Church and was a member of the Athens Elks Lodge #1927. He was self employed in the silo business until his retirement. After retirement he was associated with the Shankle's BP in Athens.
He is survived by his daughter, Jane H. Yount of Englewood; son-in-law, Tim Vestal of Englewood; one granddaughter, Megan Price of Murfreesboro; one grandson, Gabe Vestal of Englewood; one great-granddaughter, Shyanne Vestal of Athens; and one great-grandson, Waylon Price of Murfreesboro .
There will be no formal visitation or service. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
