Randolph J. "Randy" Hall, 86, of Athens, died Friday morning, January 15, 2016 at Life Care Center of Athens.
He was a native of Shannon, Georgia and was a resident of Athens since 1954, he was a son of the late Jean A. and Lillian Andrews Hall. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother L.D. Hall, a brother Buddy Hall and a son-in-law Howell Wade.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was associated with Bowater where he served as Mill manager from 1979-1986 retiring after 32 years.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anita Owen Hall of Athens; two daughters and one son-in-law, Vivian Wade of Cartersville, GA and Taryn and Donnie Gill of Cleveland; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bucky and Patti Hall and Tyrone and Dianna Hall all of Athens; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Netty Jean Brannon of Venice, Fl and Sylvia Gentry of Calhoun, GA.
There will be no formal service or visitation. The family will have a private graveside service at a later date.
The family suggests memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 E. College Street, Athens, TN 37303.
