Obituary for Dorothy S Parkinson (Hall)

Dorothy "Dot" Hall Parkinson, 79, of Riceville, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at NHC of Athens.
She was a native of Morgan County, Tennessee and longtime resident of Riceville. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Florence Gunter Hall. She was also preceded in death by sisters Doris "Baby" Hall, Helen Hall Brown, Iris Hall Clifton, Juanita Hall Orme, Barbara Hall Logston, Beatrice Hall Rose, and brothers William, Robert and Clayton Hall.
She was a member of Eastanallee Baptist Church and was associated with Thomas and Betts until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wayne Parkinson of Riceville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Mike Grayson of Athens, Penny and Andrej Killer of Cumming,GA, and Rebeccah and Craig Seagrest of Johnson City, TN; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Linda Wilson of Crossville; grandchildren, Jason Farris and Charissa Simmons, Hope and Scotty Adams, Shawn Wilson, Aidan Killer, and Ashley and Josh Turner; 2 sisters and one brother-in-law, Jewel and Gene Southworth of Lexington,Ky, and Reva Lindsey of Wartburg,TN; and a brother and his wife, Bill and Iris Hall of Versailles, Ky.
A funeral service will be conducted , 2:00 pm, Monday, January 18, 2016 at at Eastanallee Baptist Church with Rev. Oran Creasman and Dr. Tony Crisp officiating. Interment will follow in Eastanallee Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30am-1:30 pm at the church prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Lee Parkison, Craig Mathis, Kevin Mathis, Steve Parkinson, Bruce Dodson and Jason Farris
The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the giver's choice in honor of Dot.
