Mary Matilda Bryson Parker, 97, of Sylva, North Carolina, died Thursday night, August 17, 2017 at her son's residence in Athens, TN.
She was a native of Sylva, North Carolina where she spent most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Wykle Bryson and was also preceded in death by her husband Herbert Roy Parker.
She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Ann Queen of Sylva, North Carolina; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Mary Ann Parker of Athens; three granddaughters, Kimberly Queen, Marnina Queen and Taylor Parker; four great grandchildren; sister, Jessie Cagle of Hendersonville, North Carolina; and a brother, Glen Bryson of South Carolina.
There will be no formal visitation or service.
