David R. Baker, 50, of Riceville, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.
He was a lifelong resident of McMinn County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Baker, father, John Baker, a sister, Melissa Baker, his grandparents, Russell and Alice Baker and Earl and Delcie Farris.
Survivors his mother, Mary Ruth Garrett of Riceville; two sons, Derek Barham of Charleston and Austin Baker of La Mountville; brother, John M. Baker of La Montville and a niece, Kandice Baker of Riceville.
He was a member of Bethel Springs Baptist church. He was a member of the Tennessee National Guard 1st, 278th Armored Calvary. He was well loved by all his family and many friends.
per his request his body was donated to medical science.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
