Obituary for Nancy Dooley Burn (Wilkins)

Nancy Wilkins Dooley Burn, 88, of Athens, died Friday morning, November 24, 2017 at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Nancy was a native of Detroit, Michigan but lived most of her life in McMinn County and was a daughter of the late Thomas E, Sr. and Alice Schilke Wilkins. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas S. Dooley, her second husband, William H. Burn, and a brother Thomas E. Wilkins, Jr.
She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Athens. She was an avid Bridge player for many years.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas Leslie Dooley of Bowling Green, KY and Robert S. and Kimberly Dooley of Chattanooga; one granddaughter, Ann Mitz Dooley of Jackson, MS; one grandson, Thomas S. Dooley, III, of Bowling Green, KY, and one brother and his wife, John B. and Mae Wilkins of Cleveland.
A funeral service will be conducted, 2:00 pm, Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Rev. Hendree Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Monday in the Parish Hall from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Dooley, Robert Dooley, Thomas Dooley, III, John Wilkins, Toby and Jeff Wilkins. Honorary pallbearer, Thomas W. Dooley.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 123 S. Jackson Street, Athens, TN 37303; or Tennessee Wesleyan University, 204 E. College Street, Athens, TN 37303; or a charity of the givers choice.
