Obituary for Pamela Hutsell (Brown)

Pamela Brown Hutsell, 70, of Athens, died Thursday morning, April 26, 2018 at Starr Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and longtime resident of Athens, she was a daughter of the late Clois (C.E.) and Myrtle Borden Brown.
She was a member of Sanford Baptist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Starr #159 and the Soul Filling Station Revival. She graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College (University) and received a Masters at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She was associated with Riceville Elementary as a school teacher, retiring after 43 years. She was a member of NEA-TEA, and the McMinn County retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Hutsell of Athens; a daughter, Linda Hutsell of Knoxville; a granddaughter, Sydney Maines; a great-grandson, AJ Maines; one sister, Sharon Ann Brown of Memphis; and a nephew, Daniel Farr.
A funeral service will be conducted 1:30 pm, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Sanford Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Garrett and Rev. Michael Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Lower Spring Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Smith Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, April 27th.
Pallbearers will be James Smith, Joseph Wallace, Eric Williams, Christopher Williams, Josh Richards, and Brandon Mason.
