Warnetta Kaye Kennedy Martin, 63, of Athens, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her residence.
She was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a daughter of the late Warner "Chittle" and Dorothy Richesin Kennedy.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Athens.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joshua and Kelly Martin and Dusty Martin all of Athens; grandchildren, Dakota and Abigail Martin and Katie and Jamey Henley; great-granddaughter, Jayci Henley; two sisters-and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Jimmy Baker of Athens and Sheila and Harry Minge of Franklin, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 2, 2018 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 pm Monday prior to the service.
