Obituary for Douglas Snyder

Douglas Lynn Snyder, 71, of Sweetwater, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Starr Regional Medical Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County and was a son of the late Hoyal and Pauline Zimmerman Snyder. He is also preceded in death by his wife Vickie Diane Snyder.
He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Sweetwater and was retired from Southern Railroad after 30 years.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Chris and Heather Snyder of Knoxville and Steve Snyder of Knoxville; a step-son, Mikey Presswood of Sweetwater; grandchildren, Bryson, Avery, and Tatum Snyder; and one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Glenda Snyder of Sweetwater.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted, 7:00 pm, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Fairview Baptist Church in Sweetwater with Rev. Johnny Carr officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
