Jackie Joe Fagg, 77, of Athens, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Starr Regional Medical Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Athens and was a son of the late Jordan Hampton and Mary Ranzey McKeehan Fagg. He was also preceded in death by a sister Virginia Fagg Coleman.
Jackie was an avid fisherman, hunter, and a former member of the McMinn County Rescue Squad. He was associated with Plastic Industries from 1968-2001 until his retirement. Since his retirement he loved to sell at local auctions, and never met a stranger. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue Burris Fagg of Athens; a daughter, Lisa Fagg Newman (Scott) of Maryville; a son, Randy Fagg (Marvelene) of Athens; four grandchilden, Meghan Fagg- Smith, Rory Fagg, Landon Newman, Molly Newman; a brother, Danny Fagg of Riceville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will meet at McMinn Memory Gardens, 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 29th for a graveside service Rev. Jerry Stephens officiating.
McMinn County Rescue Squad will service as pallbearers.
