Obituary for Casey Jeanette Daugherty
Casey Jeanette Daugherty, 32, of Athens, died Monday, April 15, 2019 at her residence.
She was a native of Summerville, South Carolina and the daughter of the late Kathryn Anders Daugherty. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Ruth McNelley and paternal grandfather William S. Daugherty.
She was self-employed at Elite Auto detailing.
She is survived by a son, William James E. Daugherty of Athens; father and step-mother, Joel and Janie Daugherty of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Emelee Stovall and Stephanie Goddard; two brothers, Benjamin W. Daugherty, Butch Haskins; maternal grandmother, Ida Anders; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will meet Friday, 10:00 am at Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Forkner's Chapel Cemetery in Sweetwater, TN for the graveside service at 11:00 am with Rev. Larry Arwood officiating. The family will receive friends at Smith Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, April 18, 2019.
Pallbearers will be William Daugherty, Butch Haskins, Ben Daugherty, Jimbo Anders, Ricky Hester and Joel Daugherty.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-Tribute, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
