Barbara Ann Leach Reinkens, 74, of Athens, died Monday morning, May 15, 2017 at Sweetwater Hospital.
She was a native of Bluefield, West Virginia but was raised in Buckhannon West Virginia, and was a daughter of the late Dennis Leach and Susan Mayo Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Reinkens, and her son-in-law, Curt Kimble.
She was a member of Keith Memorial United Methodist Church. She was employed as an LPN in Enid, Oklahoma.
She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Katharine Kimble and Karen and David Bailey all of Athens; one granddaughter, Sarah LeeAnn Bailey; two grandsons, Jonathan Scott Bailey and Shannon Kimble; future great-grandson, Eli Martin Hudson; sister-in-law, Pegge (Jimmy) Foland and Tina (Steve) Arnold; one aunt Rae Pollina; step grandchildren; Kory Kimble and wife Teri and their children Adam, Kade and Zoie; Kristin Lovelace and husband Cory and their children Caleb, Addie and Noah; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted, 4:00 pm, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. David Graybeal and Rev. Will Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
