Randall " Rooster"Joe Morrow, 59, of Athens, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center.
He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a son of the late John Edward and Loretta Underwood Morrow.
He was a local carpenter for many years.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Harper Morrow of Athens; daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Michael Mays of Knoxville; step-daughter and her husband, Tiffiany and Travis Walker of Cleveland; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joey and Keona Morrow, and Zachary Morrow all of Athens; stepson and his wife, Brad and Marla Jordan of Cleveland; grandchildren, Neyland, Boston, Denver, and Charlotte Morrow, Trevor, Noah, Abby, Isaiah, and Zach Walker, and Kaylee Jordan; one great-granddaughter, Ariana Walker; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Cathy Ritenour, Margaret Elizabeth and Bo Johnson of Cleveland; brother, John David Morrow of Athens; sister-in-law, Darlene Harper of Cleveland; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Jeff and Pam Harper of Cleveland, and Jimmy and Teresa Harper of Cleveland; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Betty Harper of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Smith Funeral Home 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, December 15, 2017. There will be a private committal service held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in honor of Randall to a charity of the giver's choice.
