Obituary for Felix Ratchford Sapp

Felix R. Sapp, 93, of Knoxville and formerly of New Orleans, LA, died Tuesday afternoon, January 23, 2018 at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville.
He was a native of Lyons, Georgia and was the son of the late Thomas Henry and Marie Powell Sapp. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Clifton Sapp and a granddaughter, Gwyn McCollister.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of New Orleans where he was an usher for 45 years. He was associated with SERCO in Hammond, LA as Plant Manager for 50 years, until his retirement.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and J.R. Keylon of Lenoir City; one grandson and his wife, Steve and Alicia McCollister of Sevierville; two great-granddaughters, Kendyl and Kirby McCollister; one sister-in-law, Maebell Sapp of Lyons, GA; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held, 11:00 am, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Lyons Georgia Cemetery with Rev. Danny Williams officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
