Condolences

Condolence From: Pat Shobe
Condolence: Dear Joellen,

I am so sorry. Am so thankful to have known her during our high school days. She was a beautiful, gracious lady. She was always so welcoming to your friends. She and your dad used to include me for lunch at Springbrook after church among many other things. Am thankful for all those memories.

Much love,

Pat

Condolence From: Lynda Roderick Dougan
Condolence: Mrs. Willson was my Sunday School teacher at First Baptist when I was in high school. She was such an encourager both spiritually and in our daily walks...and very musically talented. I admired and was so fond of her...such a good example of a life well-lived. You have my sympathy.

Condolence From: Jennifer Johnson Sharpe
Condolence: As friend's moms go, she was the best. Such great memories through many years. She even hosted my bridesmaids' luncheon in her home. I always thought she handled life with grace and dignity. So sorry for your loss.

Condolence From: Betty Walthall Dysart
Condolence: One of my favorite memories is hearing my mom tell about the different costumes your mom and dad would wear every year to the annual SFEM (Southern Farm Equipment Manufacturing) meetings. One in particular was the hippie costume. Think they would often win first place. Beautiful woman inside and out!

Condolence: What a wonder person. She was a friend of my mothers for many years. So sorry for your loss.

Condolence From: John and Betty McKenzie
Condolence: What a life fully lived and, because of that, the many who will grieve at her death, but even though the body is gone, the memories will remain forever. She held a special place in Betty Ann's and my heart. Betty Ann babysat for Bill and Mary Emert many times at the farm. In fact, she would spend the night and Bill would drive her back to Athens the next morning. Mary Emert later on played the organ at Betty Ann's and my wedding. What more can we say. She was just the epitome of a wonderful "lady".
