Hugh H. "Buddy" Biddle, Jr., 90, of Athens died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Life Care Center of Athens.
He was a native of Green County and lived most of his life in Athens, TN. He was the son of the late Hugh H. Biddle, Sr and Belle Evans Biddle. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Jean Biddle, and his grandparents, Thomas and Lillian Edgeman Evans who founded Evans Funeral Home which was also associated with the Biddle & Bridges Florist. Buddy was the owner and operator of Biddle & Bridges Florist for many years until his retirement.
Buddy was a graduate of McMinn County High School and Tennessee Wesleyan College (University).
He was a very active member of Keith Memorial United Methodist Church of Athens for 68 years.
He is survived by a cousin and his wife, Bobby and Kathy DaMiani of Detroit, MI and several other cousins. He is also survived by a special friend, Polly Liner of Athens.
A memorial service will be conducted at, 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Keith Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. David Graybeal officiating.
