Obituary for Betsy "Betty" Perry (Stewart)
Betsy Stewart Perry, 89, of the Rogers Creek community near Athens, died Tuesday morning, February 12, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Salem, Virginia and was a longtime resident of McMinn County and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Emma King Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon H. Perry.
She was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted, 2:00 pm, Friday, February 15, 2019 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Roberts officiating. Interment will be private at a later date at McMinn Memory Gardens.
