Obituary for Joshua Todd Edgemon
Joshua Todd Edgemon, 45, of Old Hickory, TN, and formerly of Meigs County, died Sunday, March 10, 2019 at his residence.
He was born in Fort Campbell, KY and was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Kimball Edgemon.
He was a graduate of Meigs County High School, University of Tennessee Knoxville, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, and Cornell University School of Law in Ithaca, NY. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1995-2002, stationed in Germany and deployed several times including tours in Macedonia. He was associated with King and Spaulding in NYC, NY and was presently associated with Legility, Inc of Nashville.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Murray of Old Hickory, TN; his mother and step-father, Debra and Bill Inman of Ten Mile; two brothers, Keith (Lesley) Edgemon of Fairfax, VA and Jeffrey (Chelsea) Inman of Trussville, Al; sister, Amanda (Brett) Crawford of Ten Mile, TN; father and mother-in-law, Darrell and Wanda Murray of Niota; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for all friends and family will be conducted 11:00am, Friday, March 15,2019 at Edgemon Cemetery with Rev. Carolyn Brady officiating.
The family will receive friends at Ten Mile United Methodist Church immediately following the graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Keith Edgemon, Jeffrey Inman, Brett Crawford, Gregory Buckner, Scotty Bales and Douglas Hickey.
