Obituary for Michael Lynn Galyon
Michael Lynn Galyon, 60, of Athens, died Saturday morning, April 6, 2019 at his residence.
He was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a son of the late Glen C. and Helen Davis Galyon. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Averett Galyon.
He was of the Baptist faith, and was a graduate of McMinn County High School. He was formerly associated with Pioneer Furniture and owned and operated Mike's Mat and Towel Rental.
He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Freda and David Crews of Athens; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Larry Glen Galyon, Warren Curtis and Debbie Galyon, and Victor Scott Galyon all of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted, 2:00 pm, Monday, April 8th at McMinn Memory Gardens with Rev. Ted Halcomb officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
