Obituary for Peggy Jane Rose (Heaster)

Peggy Jane Heaster Rose, 56, of Englewood, died Saturday, July 6, 2019 at her residence.
Peggy was a native of Buchannon, West Virginia and a longtime resident of McMinn County. She was a daughter of the late Frank and Nancy Levier Heaster. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Denzil Rose.
Peggy was a member of Keith Memorial United Methodist Church and was very active with the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts,and with the McMinn County High School Band Parents Association. She was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan University and was a 2nd grade school teacher at City Park Elementary School for the past 12 years.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Todd Rose of Englewood; 2 sons Garrett and Jordan Rose both of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Richard Goins of Columbia, SC; mother-in-law and her spouse, Dee and Gene Misa of Englewood; brother-in-law and his wife, Denzil, Jr. and Tessie Rose of Parkersburg, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Keith Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. David Graybeal and Rev. Andrew Lay officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
