Obituary for Alice Wolfenden (Milton)
Alice Milton Wolfenden, 81, of Athens, died Tuesday morning, August 6, 2019 at Life Care Center of Athens.
Alice was a lifelong resident of McMinn County, and was a daughter of the late Hoyt B. and Bertha Bradford Milton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert "Bob" Wolfenden, and a brother, John B. Milton, Sr.
Alice was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Athens. She was a graduate of McMinn County High School Class of 1955. In the late 1950’s, she was a flight attendant with Capital Airlines. She was office manager of Dr. Wolfenden's Dental Office until her retirement.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Alison Garrett of St. Augustine, FL; three grandsons, Will and Rhett Garrett and Trey Mahoney; a sister, Dolores Willoughby of Athens; a sister-in-law, Joyce Milton of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted, 11:00am, August, 13th, 2019 at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Rev. William (Skip) White officiating.
