Nancy Taylor Barnett passed in peace on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the age of 72. Born on October 24, 1946, in Athens, Tennessee to the late R.L. and Thelma Taylor. Sister of the late Patsy Robbins and late Roy Taylor and proceeded in death by her husband, Max Barnett. Nancy will be remembered by her family and friends for her love of cooking, Christmas, family history, and being a Nana to her grandchildren. Survivors include son, Gregory Marc (Merrie) Barnett; and daughters, Vanessa Love (Ron) Wilson, and Jyl Cheree Gryder; grandchildren Miller Barnett, Mason Barnett, Andy Barnett, Katheryne Wilson, Lindsey (Tiffany )Wilson, Mallory Wilson, Michael Gryder, and David Gryder; Great Grandchildren, Mia Wilson, Brody Brown and Gunner Brown; Niece and Nephews, Davis and Janet Partain Rogers, Taylor Rogers and Holly Rogers, Jeff Robbins, and William Bucky Talyor and a brother-in-law, Rex Barnett.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, September 5, 2019 at McMinn Memory Gardens in Athens, TN with Rev. Randall Bates Officiating,.
