Obituary for Neal Ray Womac
Neal R. Womac, 86, of Calhoun, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 19, 2020 at Morning Pointe of Athens.
He was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and was the son of the late Felix and Lennis Shamblin Womac. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Jean Wallace Womac and his second wife Gail Nunley Womac.
He was of the Baptist faith. Neal was Valedictorian of his class at Calhoun High School. He was a business owner for Surge Dairy Equipment and Purina Feeds and was an active farmer.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jeff Womac of Charleston and Alvin and Eleanore Womac of Louisville; two grandsons and their spouses, Adrian and Kristin Womac and Austin and Melia Womac; and three great-granddaughters.
There will be a graveside service conducted at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the Womac Family Cemetery, all family and friends are welcome to attend. There will be no formal visitation.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Womac Family Cemetery, c/o Jeff Womac, P.O. Box 3066, Riceville, TN 37370.
