Obituary for James Lynn "Jim" Burger
James Lynn "Jim" Burger, 81, of Athens, died Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his residence.
Jim was a lifelong resident of McMinn County was a son of the late Herbert A. and Willie Mae Culberson Burger. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
He is survived by a special friend, Brenda Wyatt of Englewood; a sister, Wanda Jo Pressley of Niota; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted, 1:00 pm ,Sunday. April 5, 2020 at Sunrise Cemetery in Englewood with Rev. Michael Jackson officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
