Obituary for Robert Earl Womac
Robert Earl Womac, 66, of Riceville, died Thursday, May 28, 2020 at his residence.
Robert was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a son of the late Glenn V. and Jean Haynes Womac. He was also preceded in death by his wife Donna Gail Higgins Womac and a brother Thomas Irvin Womac.
He was a member of South Liberty Baptist Church and was associated with Duracell and Robette Mfg. Company until his retirement.
He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Harley Crisp; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Janice Womac; and a sister-in-law, Ann Womac all of Riceville; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted, 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 31st at Womac Family Cemetery, County Road 732, Calhoun, TN with Rev. Stanley Liner officiating. There will be no formal visitation due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
Pallbearers will be Jerid Womac, Harley Crisp, Cody Womac, Jordan Rummel, Shelby Rummel, and Nathan Crowden. Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Morrow, Coy Harbison, and Josh Womac.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-Tribute, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
