Obituary for Charlotte Ruth Howard (Hamilton)
Charlotte Ruth Hamilton Howard, 79, of Riceville, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Life Care Center of Athens.
She was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a daughter of the late Luke and Trula Morris Hamilton.
She was a member of East Athens Baptist Church, and she was associated with Proffitt's and then Belk for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandy Ward, Teresa Proctor and her husband Dave, and Donna Howard; two grandsons, Luke (Dana) Proctor and Jake Proctor; and two granddaughters, Haley Ward and Shelly Proctor; and brother, Jerry Hamilton.
There will be no formal visitation. There will be a private graveside for the family at McMinn Memory Gardens.
