Obituary for Claudia Jean "Jean" Collier (Skipper)
Claudia Jean Skipper Collier, 66, of Athens, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at Starr Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Warner Robbins, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Claude M. and Barbara Holley Skipper. She was also Preceded in death by an infant brother, Terry Lynn Skipper.
She was of the Baptist Faith and was a Secretary to Sonny Perdue at Houston Fertilizer and Grain Company in Perry, Georgia.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and Tyler Goodner of Athens; a son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Kathryn Collier of Kathleen, GA; four grandchildren, Kimber Addison Collier, Kade Daniel Collier, Tobias Harland Goodner, and Morgan Vivian Goodner; and two brothers, Randy and Steve Skipper.
There will be no formal visitation or service at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life service held in Kathleen, Georgia at later date.
