Obituary for Leigh Ann Hampton (Bledsoe)
Leigh Ann Bledsoe Hampton, 51, of McMinn County passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Austin Lee Bledsoe and Iowa Teague Bledsoe-Womac. She was also preceded in death by her adoptive father, Doc Bragg Womac, her father-in-law, Doyle Richard "Tommy" Hampton, and older brother Eddie Riden.
She was a devout Christian of the baptist faith and active member of many churches in the community throughout her life and service as a pastor's wife, most recently at Old Fashioned Baptist Church in Niota.
She is survived by her husband, David Christopher Hampton of McMinn County, three daughters, Keely Shea Gay of Dalton, Kelsey Morgan Begazo of Cleveland, Kaitlyn Marie Hampton of Sweetwater, son, David Christopher Hampton II of Nashville, her grandsons, Leo Christopher Begazo, William Icarus Begazo, and Silas Wade Gay, her sister, Janis Edwards of Atlanta, nieces, Amanda and Veronica Edwards of Atlanta, Sula Anne Kosacky of Canada, Emily Hagberg of Canada, nephew, Jake Girton of Canada, and her mother-in-law, Wanda Hampton of Athens.
By her request, there will be no visitation or memorial service held.
