Obituary for William Thomas Edwards
William Thomas Edwards, 67, passed away, Saturday, May 28, 2022 in a Greeneville, TN hospital, he was a former resident of Athens.
He was a native of McMinn County and was a son of the late J.E. (King) and Mary Sue Eaton Edwards. He was also preceded in death by a brother Ronald Edwards.
He is survived by his brother, James Earl (Beverly) Edwards Jr. USMC retired Lt. Colonel of Florida; niece, Reagan Edwards Rogers of Kingsport, TN; nephew, James E. Edwards, III of San Diego, California; grand- niece, Emily Bowman Wassum and family of Rexburg, Idaho; and grand-nephew, Logan Rogers of Kingsport, TN.
A graveside service will be conducted, 3:00 pm, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at McMinn Memory Gardens with Rev. Skip White Officiating. There will be no visitation.
