Obituary for Reba Bowers (Moses)
Reba Moses Bowers, 86, of Englewood, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a daughter of the late Sherman and Edna Cook Moses. She was also preceded in death by her husband Dennis G. Bowers; infant son, Michael Bowers; brothers, Bob, Jim and Don Moses.
She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church in Etowah and was retired from Athens Dry Cleaners.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law. Terry and Wanda Bowers of Athens and Tommy A. Bowers all of Athens; four grandchildren and spouses, Matt and Brandi Bowers, Mishae and Rob Morris, Misty and Steve Phillips, and Allie and Sonny Hembree; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Armstrong; sister-in-law, Brenda Moses; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted, 11:00 am, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Mars Hill Cemetery in Englewood with Rev. Kenny Waldrop officiating.
Pallbearers will be Matt Bowers, Steve Phillips, Sonny Hembree and other family and friends.
