Obituary for Zachary Caleb Estes

Zachary (Zach) Caleb Estes, 29, of Athens, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville.
He was a lifelong resident of McMinn County. He was a loving son, brother, father, and friend to many, and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Athens.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ira Estes and Mary Gail Estes; aunt, Elaine Culvahouse, and a best friend, Dexter Toomey.
He was a graduate of McMinn Central High School where he participated in numerous athletic events. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed everything outdoors. He was known for his bright eyes, big smile and always bringing humor to everyone. He had been associated with the Wacker Company.
He is survived by his mother and father, Jennifer and Steve Estes of Athens; sister, Makenzie and her husband Logan Kesley of Athens; step-siblings, Brent Alan Estes and Terri Lynn Daniels both of Georgia; a son who was the light of his life, Braylyn Parker Estes of Athens; maternal grandparents, Cloyd and Shelia Jaynes of Athens; uncles and aunts, Tony and Emily Webb, Ronnie and Margaret Estes; and a cousin who was like a sister, Abby Webb.
A private graveside service will be held for family and close friends, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Russ Maples officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
