Obituary for James Stephen Gann (Steve)
James Stephen Gann, 72, of Athens, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Life Care Center of Athens.
He was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and was the son of the late Joe L. and Eileen Snyder Gann of Athens.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Steve was a 1968 graduate of McMinn County High School and attended Tennessee Wesleyan University and University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
He retired from Smoky Mgmt. LLC.
He was an avid sports enthusiast.
He is survived b sister, Linda Tuggle and husband Phil; nephews, Travis and Brent Tuggle and their families; two aunts and several cousins. A special cousin Mike Vestal, and lots of friends including a longtime friend, Travis Walker.
Family and friends will gather at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 1st at Cedar Grove Cemetery for a graveside service.
